Jr. Project Manager - Crypto

Our high-performance Business Consulting team is currently seeking a senior associate to join an established project with a leading global cryptocurrency firm, who operates the largest crypto exchange in the United States. The role is to be our US-based Delivery Manager (working closely with our offshore Delivery Manager) to support day-today delivery, ensure quality service, support the management and development of our team, and liaise directly with client stakeholders.
The ideal candidate must have strong project or service management experience, with an interest in cryptocurrency, and have strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You’ll be working full-time with our crypto client for the medium- to long term, but joining Morae will give you future opportunities to work with leading corporate legal and compliance departments to deliver innovative solutions that harmonize technology, people, and process into transformative outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery management of a crypto asset Due Diligence Managed Service.
- Supporting the intake of bi-weekly batches of assets to review, ensuring that all required supporting material has been provided.
- Supporting the allocation of work to the review team, ensuring an appropriate of balance of work between the team.
- Supporting smooth day-to-day delivery, dealing with queries and questions, resolving issues, and providing advice to the team.
- Supporting the independent review of the quality of our outputs, overseeing the work of our QC team and providing oversight and QA of all outputs.
- Ensuring that work is effectively tracked, and that delays and barriers are quickly addressed.
- Supporting all communications with the client – both inbound queries or questions, and outbound reporting on progress and findings.
- Supporting the ongoing development of procedures and guidance so that the work continues to be efficient and the team productive.
- Supporting the design and delivery of training to our team, to ensure ongoing development of knowledge and skills.
- Working within a close team, in particular working closely with the offshore Delivery Manager
- Building strong relationships within Morae, and the client.
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree required. Masters or JD is a plus.
- At least 2+ years of professional business experience required.
- Experience or keen interest in digital assets, understanding how crypto works and being able to interpret blockchain transactions.
- Background in working in compliance or consulting projects a plus
- Adaptable to an evolving industry.
- Strong project management and change management skills, particularly in a consulting or similar client facing environment.
- Ability to handle several tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence others and effect change.
- Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Passion for collaboration, and building strong working partnerships
- Ability to balance customer service with sound business judgment
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Has experience working on teams and enjoys collaborating.
